الوصف الوظيفي

• To design Exploration and Appraisal well testing requirements
• To design cost-effective PVT and SCAL programs and laboratory studies for reservoir characterization study for oil fields.
• To design and provide independent analysis of well surveillance data but not limited to SGS, MDT, PLT, RST, PBU, etc. as and when required.
• To analyze pressure transient test data for oil reservoirs for any configuration and any type.
• To prioritize, track and quality check wells’ production tests.
• To capture established reservoir performance characteristics in simple, analytically based reservoir models (i.e. material balance - MBAL) independently using existing well surveillance data to supplement the indications from production trending analysis.
• To carry out MBAL analysis to assess connected hydrocarbon volume and assess reservoir drive mechanism
• Make production forecasts for planning exercises and economic evaluations in support of contingent resources assessment.
• To liaise with geoscientists, subsurface and operation to interpret reservoir management results and predict production potential.
• To provide various reservoir pressure prediction in support of exploration and appraisal wells drilling
• Work closely with Geophysical & Geological team on input data to support exploration program
• Maintain lifecycle hydrocarbon maturation strategy and plan for future development that include identification and maturation of CR opportunities, Reserves estimation and reporting (ARPR).
• Provide input to annual program build; update/ propose projects for identified prospects.
• To guide, motivate and provide reservoir engineering coaching and mentoring support to young reservoir engineers.
• Maintain and update reservoir-engineering database including daily production data, core and fluid analysis, pressure surveys / PBUs for use in subsurface evaluation studies.
• Provide support to Operations, Projects and Drilling Departments

المهارات المطلوبة

• BS degree or higher in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent
• More than 5 years of experience in reservoir engineering with an oil and gas operator.
• Highly skilled reservoir Engineer with experience in Clastic and fractured Carbonate reservoirs.
• Have at least 5 years recent position with field studies or Development Planning team.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to contribute as a team player.
• Fluency in written and spoken use of the English language is required
