Job Title:Mechanical Technician,Department:Maintenance Department,Job Purpose:Provides technical Maintenance Mechanical across NGLE sites and all related operations under Senior Engineer Mechanical Services scope as, provider of technical inputs for the maintenance and execution of minor projects, modifications in accordance with the technical standards set by the department to maintain the assets; by performing works related to process technical data, workshop area, in order to support department in maintaining of all static equipment in NGLE Plants within day to day maintenance activities, as well as, during plants' turnaround and overhauls.
Technician - Mechanical position will act in accordance with NGLE values & strategies, policies, guidelines, technology platform, HSE standards, Omani's government & other legal justification's, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives and Ethics standards.
,Roles and Responsibilities:- Analyze the data thoroughly to identify specific fault frequency.
- Ensure timely completion of call-condition monitoring related notifications/requests and close out.
- Investigate, troubleshoot and provide preliminary analysis reports for problematic (Bad Actors) on all rotating equipment.
- Perform on-line vibration monitoring system (System-1) on a daily basis.
- Conduct continuous monitoring & analyzing all data or records (plant information, diagnostic report, etc.) and equipment histories to continually review and refine inspection frequencies.
- Participating in approval of all new installations and major repairs, including those carried out by contractors, to ensure their maintainability and reliability.
- Carry out shop balancing for large rotors on balancing machine at workshop.
- Works closely with maintenance team and provide input on preventative & predictive maintenance procedures.
- Provide relevant information and data required during root cause analysis.
- Provide input in lubrication program & oil analysis and incorporate in the PM/PdM maintenance program.
- Perform routine visual inspection and ensure all equipment is properly lubricated and oil analysis is performed on all critical equipment
المهارات المطلوبة
Knowledge & Experience:
- Minimum Qualifications for this position is Diploma in Technology or similar.
- Minimal years of relevant experience is +2 years in a similar role.
- Driving license for all categories of vehicles operated in field.
- Knowledge of chemical types and Material Safety data Sheets (MSDS).
- Plant safety course.
Skills:
- Proficiency in M/S Office.
- Written and spoken English.
- Knowledgeable on HSE and Work Permit procedures
