Job Title:Senior Mechanical Engineer,Department:Maintenance,Job Purpose:Provides technical engineering expertise pertaining to Mechanical Maintenance across NGLE designated sites and all related operations, under Manager Maintenance as Technical Service provider of maintenance and execution of minor projects, modifications in accordance with the technical standards set by TSD to maintain the assets; through the (1) Development of new project and improvements in Maintenance - Mechanical including the execution of assigned work in accordance with the applicable Project Procedures and Standards,(including procedures on Safety and Quality Control, within the man-hour and cost budgets and the project schedule targets), (2) Ensures preventive and corrective maintenance is accurately completed within the section and timely production of deliverables associated with the Engineering aspects of assigned Concept & Support Mechanical Design Section in relation to mechanical matters and review of critical drawings, (3) carry out studies and analyse chronic maintenance problems and propose reliable solutions (4) reviewing and keeping updated the preventive and corrective maintenance plans, and (5) provides technical support to the team in the development and training of personnel including graduate engineers when requested; in order to support maintenance function to meet cost-effective, timely and efficient manner
Senior Engineer Mechanical position will act in accordance with NGLE' values & strategies, approved HR policies & procedures, technology platform, HSE standards, Omani's government & other legal justification's, and best HR international practices in consonance with national objectives.
,Roles and Responsibilities:- Ensure accurate execution of the activities assigned by Non plant asset Manager Maintenance.
- Develops / reviews procedures and manuals for Non plant assets.
- Prepares Scope of Work for contractors' assignments within the section, including Turnaround Activities.
- Troubleshoots of the failures of Non plant Asset equipment.
- Monitors the chemicals and diesel delivery to the operating plants and turnaround sites.
- Develop and maintain best practice, system & tools that will continuously improve the availability of assets, optimize maintenance activities and reduce cost.
- Implement and monitor KPI Metrics.
- Carry out condition and performance monitoring of critical equipment in order to recommend optimum maintenance activities
المهارات المطلوبة
Knowledge & Experience:
- Minimum Qualifications for this position is University degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- 10 Years of overall experience. Minimum years relevant of experience is 5 years in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Planning and executing Turnaround Activities
Skills:
- Proficiency in M/S Office
- Closing work orders in SAP.
- Problem solving skills.
