The Field Completion Supervisor has the primary responsibilities of coordinating and managing the execution of completion & well services operations. Jobs duties will include procurement, delivery, makeup, design change and installation of the completion materials in a safe and cost effective manner and in conformance with established Company guidelines, policies, procedures and applicable governmental regulations. The Field Completion Supervisor reports to the Completion Team Lead of the Well Service Department.

Coordinates and supervises activities of all service providers for Drilling and Well services for workover & completion of wells. Coordinates with well services engineers & well services supervisors.

Ensures optimum operational, financial, safety and environmental goals and objectives have been established for projects.

Assist Production Department in reducing production deformities.

Share & documents best practices & lesson learned with Well Service Team, contractors and well services team lead.

Actively participates in Well Services reviews and risk assessments.

Ensures field work is performed in compliance with all applicable regulations and Company policies.

Seeks out new technology and methods through self-education of new industry equipment and methods that relate to Well Completions.

Familiar with Oxy Oman and industry standards and recommended practices that relate to well work completion operations.

Determines project assignments for direct reports.

Identifies training needs of staff on well services activities and develops individual plans to fill the gaps.

Identifies special projects for interns that help with their development and provide useful data for the Well Service Team or their customers.

Promote and develop safe work habits and environmentally friendly practices in daily activities.

Comply with company Safety, Environmental and Health rules and regulations.

Ensure departmental personnel compliance with all HES training requirements including, but not limited to, the Training Mine system.

Ensure all Management of Change items are captured in the relevant system and requirements of the Management of Change system in general are adhered to.

Be an active participant in incident investigations and ensure any resultant action items are closed out in a timely manner.

Provide assistance on identified gaps on services provider on how to close them.

Provide support and recommendations for environmental issues.

Supervise completion makeup at contractor workshop.

Help establish completion "Best Practices".

Advise and assist WSM's and Desk engineers on completion procedures.

Trouble shoot completion equipment issues and follow up with vendor.

Work with others to update Well Schematic folders in new format.

Participates in Monthly Safety Meetings and submits monthly job observations

Ensures all Materials are available and coordinates with Warehouse Personnel to ensure availability of materials for smooth execution of completion & well services operations.
