The Associate Geosciences Data specialist will be responsible for collection and maintenance of well and seismic data, its analysis and presentation for supporting Exploration Department and others.

The Associate Geosciences Data specialist responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Supporting Exploration and Reservoir Management Teams personnel through gathering, creating, extracting, loading, editing, and managing well, geological and geophysical data.
• Manages and maintains geosciences database in OpenWorks (These includes but not limited to: Seisworks database, VSPs, Time Depths Tables, Wells, Logs, tops, horizons, surveys etc.).
• Load and maintain Petrophysical data in OpenWorks and RECALL database.
• Supports other departments data requests i.e. drilling and engineering teams with all well and seismic information.
• Supports Partners and Ministry of Oil and Gas with all data requirements.
  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems or Physics or any related field.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above.
• Must be a fresh graduate, job seeker or working in a non-permanent position.
• Must have not held any permanent jobs before.
• Must be graduated on the date of application.
• Must be an Omani national.
• Good knowledge of standard Microsoft applications i.e. Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word.
• Good in communication and interpersonal skills.
