Job purpose

Develop Data visualization around Data models, analyze trends and patterns proving business insights proving business insights under delegated authority from Digital Technology N-4 , in order to deliver on time solutions , provide proper  support to the business  to optimize specific business outcomes  

The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines and international standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani’s government & other legal justification’s, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Becoming an expert, managing, and administering Business Intelligence tools and solutions
• Support in creating interactive dashboards and visualizations
• Work with Data Scientists to distill data into actionable and intuitive visualizations that tell stories
• Create functional and technical documentation related to Business Intelligence & Data solutions
• Deliver transformative solutions to business units that are aligned to industry best practices and provide thought leadership
• Aid in the dissemination of business analysis best practices throughout the organization

Key interactions

Internal: Assurance, F&S, Commercial, Downstream, Upstream, Projects.

External: Staffing specialized Contractors, Vendors & Suppliers

Notable Working Conditions. Office environment, intensive computer screen use, sporadic visits to operation site.

Education requirements

Minimum Qualifications for this position is a Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or related disciplines.

Language

Excellent knowledge of written, read, and spoken English (required) Arabic - Native (desirable)
