The Lab Technician Fresh Graduate will be responsible for Sampling and quality control testing of various process & products associated with Oman North Operations oilfield facilities and maintain all laboratory equipment to support the analytical requirements associated with the Oman North Operations oilfield.
The Lab Technician (Fresh Graduate) responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Analyze samples according to industry approved methods.
Maintain all laboratory equipment and identify and perform appropriate equipment maintenance procedures.
Ensure samples are correctly collected and that they are representative of the process streams from they are derived.
Ensure compliance with all company and governmental safety, environmental and health rules and regulations.
Take process fluid samples and perform analysis to insure product meets established specifications.
Identify problem areas leading to out of spec product and recommend corrective actions.
Monitor and optimize chemical usage.
Maintain historical records and communicate water quality data to appropriate customers.
Maintain lab equipment and perform appropriate preventive maintenance.
College Diploma in Applied Chemistry or any related majors.
GPA of 2.5 or above, priority will be given to highest GPA in the selection process.
Must be a fresh graduate, job seeker or working in a non-permanent position.
Must not hold any permanent positions before.
Must be graduated on the date of application.
Good in communication and interpersonal skills.
