الوصف الوظيفي

• Provide expert advice & direction on all Occupational Health & Industrial Hygiene (OH & IH) issues and develop necessary process to ensure proper OH & IH management in COMPANY.
• Develop and recommend a control and monitoring system for all Occupational Health hazards.
• Initiate, plan and implement programs, studies and activities related to Occupational Health and Hygiene across the Company.
• Develop, establish and revise as necessary the procedures, standards and guidelines for OH & IH aspects relevant to the Company’s operations. Establish a system of audits/ inspection to enable OH & IH compliance.
• Monitor the implementation of procedures, standards and guidelines for OH & IH through regular audits and inspections and ensure compliance with applicable local or international regulations/guidelines.
• Investigate reported occupational illness and health hazard incidents and occurrences. Identify causes and provide recommendations to resolve areas of concern.
• Conduct /Facilitate Health Risk Assessment ( HRA) programs with line managers and review update control measures ( engineering, Administrative, Procedural, PPE Controls )
• Promote a high level of OH & IH awareness and conduct OH & IH related training for all employees in collaboration with other HSE Teams.
• Develop and maintain Corporate OH profile and ensure identification of impacts resulting from company operations.
• Act as COMPANY focal point for all external & internal committees relevant to OH.
• Analyze trends and potential OH Hazard for short & long-term impact and develop necessary actions to manage potential impacts on OH.

المهارات المطلوبة

• Medical Degree in Health Sciences (Doctor MOH Approved) followed 8-10 years’ experience in Health function,
• Preferably OH & IH specific work, in an oil & gas industry, with 4-5 years in a senior supervisory capacity.
• Membership of a recognized international forum/organization for Occupational Health would be an advantage.
• Proficient in English. Superior communication skills. Influencing and interpersonal skills.
