ROLE PURPOSE:
Provides technical expertise pertaining to maintenance Static Equipment (MAF, SR, AP &PP, SRIP, LPIC) Generic, under Team Leader - Static Equipment (MAF, SR, AP &PP, SRIP, LPIC - Generic) Services' scope, as focal point of contact for contractors or suppliers; by determining repair requirements of static equipment and to plan and perform complex preventive and corrective maintenance in the plant areas; in order to ensure that all temporary & permanent solutions are being planned & executed in coordination with execution teams for the Inspection generated work requests.
Senior Technician Static Equipment (MAF, SR, AP &PP, SRIP, I-PIC) Generic position at Maintenance function, will act in accordance with Orpic’s values & strategies, policies, guidelines, technology platform, HSE standards, Omani's government & other legal justification's, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives and Ethics standards.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & DELIVERABLES:
Collects data from field and provides the Supervisor with the necessary information for preparing appropriate action plans.
Follow existing procedures for undertaking preparatory checks and trouble-shooting in order to maintain the equipment's availability.
Report any field deficiencies through proper communication channels.
Prepare applications for work permit.
Leads a team of contractors for the purpose of asset maintenance and necessary re-works in the assigned area.
Handles independently with minimal supervision all type of equipment assigned to his discipline.
Guides, trains and coaches junior staff members.
Complies with all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
Adhere to HSE protocols and procedures
Ensure all mandatory HSE inductions are completed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUAL'S:
Knowledge Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications for this position is Diploma in Technology or similar.
Minimal years of relevant experience is 5 years in a similar role.
Knowledge of refinery and petrochemical plant operations.
Experience in static equipment maintenance, Workshop activities. Skills:
Proficiency in M/S Office.
Communication skills.
