The Drilling Engineer will be responsible and accountable for: 

• Work with the Senior Drilling Engineer, Well Engineers, and Drilling Supervisors in support of the Well Planning, Drilling & Completion, Workover and Abandonment operations.
• Deliver safe and secure well designs compliant with ARA Petroleum Policies, Standards, and Procedures, planning, and cost estimating during well construction from site construction until handover to production.
• Support during well operations, both in the office and rig site, including out of hours when required.
• Provide design and construction interface with the Engineering Team for well pads and access roads.
• Support the Completions/ Interventions Engineer for the planning of Well Interventions, workovers, well servicing and abandonment operations.
• Work with contractors and suppliers including supporting the sourcing, tendering and evaluating of materials and services used in Well Design and execution.
• Verification of well construction within design specification and ARA Petroleum standards.
• Manage the daily reporting of wells activities. End of well reporting, performance reviews, capturing & leading the Lessons Learned & continuous improvement process.
• Manage all logistical activities that are associated with the above activities.
• Ensure that all activities are adhering to international or local legislation and comply with company policy, guidelines and procedures.
• Support delivery of wells related to ARA Petroleum Management Systems policy and procedures, including Drilling & Completion, Well Control and Well Interventions procedures i.e. Control of Work and HSSE procedures.
• Utilize the latest technologies & data analytics to track well costs and execution performance.
