الوصف الوظيفي

The Wells Material and corrosion Lead will serve as a Technical specialist and expert in all matters related to materials of well components in the Company. The incumbent will be responsible for: - Provide guidance, mentoring and support on topics associated with metallurgy, connections, coatings and corrosion control for Well completions and associated equipment - Develop and update company technical specifications and best practices on aspects related to well materials - Identify and qualify new technologies to optimize the cost of wells and enhance the integrity of wells - Provide Technical Expertise to PDO Projects and Assets in areas related to materials, corrosion and integrity in Wells and associated equipment. - Define Objectives and strategy related to application of novel technologies and materials - Provide assurance on material selection and performance for all Well components and associated equipment to meet technical integrity requirements - Decision making to endorse technical deviations to the specification and procedure requirements. - Coach and mentor young engineers & other staff - Evaluate ICV opportunities for well equipment vendors and provide required technical support to local companies. - Manage new materials proposal, testing & Approval.

- A minimum of B.Sc. Degree in Materials/Mechanical Engineering/Polymer technology or equivalent. - Experience should be a minimum of 10 years in the oil & gas industry, preferably with good knowledge of wells and well operations
