The Artificial Lift Engineer’s overall responsibility of all artificial lift wells issue. This includes artificial lift design, monitor optimize, troubleshoot and failure analysis of all artificial lift wells in the Safah and Wadi Latham area fields. The types of artificial lift now utilized are (Electric Submersible Pump) ESP’s, (Progressive Cavity Pump) PCP’s and conventional beam pumping units. This responsibility includes managing some of the related service agreements.
The Artificial Lift Engineer responsibilities include but not limited to:
Check/review all the recommended ESP/PCP & BP design and equipment selection made by the service contractor for surface and sub surface.
Ensure all Artificial Lift working procedures and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) are in place.
Conducting field service audits and ensure installation, pull and transportation proper procedures and best practices are implemented
Support and supervise installation for all Artificial Lift (ESP/PCP & BP) systems.
Support and supervise commissioning for all Artificial Lift (ESP/PCP & BP) systems.
Focal point for the LOWIS/OxyLIFT and well testing validation.
Monitor Artificial Lift well actual performance against Artificial Lift well potential.
Support field staff in important trouble shootings of problematic wells.
Manage all artificial Lift (ESP/PCP & BP) wells data base and participate in well review sessions when needed.
Participate in all ESP, PCP & Beam Pump (BP) failure analysis.
Manage all contracts and service orders of the related artificial lift systems.
Manage and optimize inventory levels to ensure enough stock levels to cover Operations need for downhole and surface equipments.
Act as company site representative for ESP, PCP & BP contracts, conduct field Audit and service quality improvement.
