ROLE PURPOSE:

Supervise the team of maintenance staff & external contractors in the area of rotating equipment performing planned and un-planned maintenance activities utilizing maintenance best practice.

Deliverables 

• Conduct tool box meetings to establish scope of work, safety requirement & permit to work (E-PTW), special tools and material on a daily basis.
• Supervise & coordinate with operations and maintenance contractors to establish repair priorities & reduce downtime.
• Leads the team and ensures scheduled preventive, corrective, breakdown and turnaround maintenance of all rotating equipment issues are carried out in accordance to work request order.
• Supervises external maintenance contractors through carrying out assigned scope of work(s).
• Ensure maintenance resources (spare parts, tools, drawings & manpower) are available prior to carry out the jobs.
• Minimizes work backlogs through work schedules and prioritization.
• Approves stock items as per job order requirements.
• Ensure work orders are closed & updated in SAP (CMMS) system and log pending activities.
• Attend and organize technicians for on-call & emergency maintenance works in plant silence hours / off duty.

Knowledge Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum Qualifications for this position is Technical Diploma in Engineering or similar
• Minimal total experience of 8 years in Rotating Equipment Maintenance inclusive of 2 years of relevant experience as Maintenance Supervisor role (Oil & Gas / Petrochemical or Refinery Plant experience preferred).
• Knowledge of :

• Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• SAP- PM
• Process Equipment Life-Cycle Management

• Knowledge in operating and maintaining the reliability of all rotating equipment.
• Experience in condition monitoring systems on rotating equipment’s.
• Familiar with and ability to monitor machinery control functionality to ensure proper protection
