As a Software Engineer, you will develop stable and functioning digital products, based on definitions of product owners
You will play a vital role in developing a wide range of digital products, from ideation to launch
You will work closely with Digital Area Leads, Digital Architects, UI/UX Designers, Software Engineers, other IT experts, as well as business functions to deliver the best digital experience for our users
You will actively lead technical discussions and generate new ideas to enhance the quality of digital products

7+ years Software development experience, with experience in Agile software development, ideally experience with design/UX driven environments
Proficiency in: Java, C++, REST API services, Python, Perl, SQL, NoSQL, and experience working with common big data and analytics system components (e.g. Hadoop stack, Apache components)
Experience with pair programming, continuous integration, test-driven development and incremental design
Drive to continuously familiarize oneself with latest digital technologies, solutions, platforms, and ways of working
Familiarity with Model View Controller (MVC) design patterns, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and development best practices
Bachelors in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other relevant analytical discipline Having a masters is a plus
Strong analytical skills
Experience with working in DevOps and CI/CD environments
Ideally experience in the start-up scene and/or with innovative tech firms
