الوصف الوظيفي

• Supervise and coordinate subsurface studies by the technical experts, which provides the basis for the Plans of Development for each area.
• Develop and implement a communication plan, to report to key stakeholders and sr. management on subsurface projects
• Leading the subsurface team and challenge the team to produce excellent quality work in tight timeframes with a lean team.
• Ensure that fit for purpose and integrated technical evaluations are performed for selected critical projects to ensure production sustainability and serve the growth vision.
• Deliver the maturation of new projects from handover from Exploration through to Operate Phase. This includes the delivery of Field Development plans for new developments, dynamic reservoir modelling, well planning and history matching in the operate phase.
• Ensure all opportunities are progressed in compliance with Stage Gate Process.
• Implement best practice principles and techniques in subsurface management.
• Keep the team focus on Field Development studies
• Ensure technical learning and best practices are captured and shared with the rest of Development teams.
• Deliver the long-term reservoir management and technical asset management as part of the field development plan.
• Act as sponsor for technical excellence ensuring development project evaluations are done consistently and in line with industry technical assurance guidelines for risk, resource, and economics assessments.
• Identify new technologies that could assist fast track field development and promote their usage in consultation with the Well and Reservoir Management Teams.
• Closely liaise with WRM teams to ensure efficient implementation of development studies and reservoir management optimization.

المهارات المطلوبة

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in petroleum engineering, or an equivalent degree in another engineering/geoscience discipline.
• 25 - 30 years of experience, largely with an E&P operator, with at least 15 years in Reservoir Engineering covering full range field development planning studies, simulation, and surveillance.
• Experience with high fractured carbonate, unconventional and heavy oil reservoirs development.
• Subsurface Team Lead/Management experience
• Experience in Project Maturation (Feasibility Study, Concept Selection)
• Broad experience in geology, geophysics, petrophysics, and production technology.
• Analytical skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Participated and managed several Field Development Planning Studies.
