الوصف الوظيفي

The Total Process Reliability (TPR) Supervisor will be a part of the operation support team and will be responsible for increasing Overall Equipment Effectiveness of all operating equipment within the Mukhaizna Field. The TPR Supervisor should understand the equipment operating conditions, performing Root Cause Failure Analyses and improving the preventive maintenance procedures and schedules for operational equipment.  The Total Process Reliability Supervisor is accountable for managing and supervising of approximately six Engineers who may be in various disciplines including mechanical, process, electrical and instrument, and may oversee outside contract engineers depending on assignment.

The Total Process Reliability Supervisor responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Manage and drive the reliability plan including equipment improvement activity audits, Operational Reliability/Integrity improvement process and Root Cause Analysis on equipment failures.
  • Optimize equipment capacities, reliability, efficiencies, and longevity to provide Operational target assurance while ensuring economic efficiencies.
  • Review & validate the technical study reports written by the engineers.
  • Proposes measures to improve reliability and availability of the rotating equipment and minimize their failure rate.
  • Develop, Review, improvise/optimize Condition Monitoring Program & Preventive Maintenance for Equipment complex.
  • Identify and address frequently recurring problems within levels of expertise and experience, reaching solutions, for senior review prior to implementation, through standard procedures and professional knowledge.
  • Support of identifying bad actors & propose recommendation/solutions to eliminate them.
  • Facilitates or directs RCFA (Root Cause Failure Analysis) study and failure investigations as well as tracking and implementing corrective action plans.
  • Develop Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) for all critical equipment.
  • Support HAZOP and HAZOP revalidation, Risk Assessments and Management of Change Processes.
  • Champion best practices and create frameworks to drive stable and scalable processes.
  • Work closely with subject-matter expert (SME) and Operation teams to advise on sound operational strategies.
  • Review criticality assessment of all equipment in the field.
  • Conduct reliability studies of rotating equipment for improvement.
  • Develop, review & improvise technical procedures & Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
  • Troubleshoots and examines equipment/systems performance in order to provide recommendations to enhance their maintainability and reliability for operation, on a long-term basis, in a most possible safe and effective manner.
  • Evaluate and establish equipment maintenance strategies as per Reliability Management Framework to achieve optimum operation risk management.
  • Consolidate KPI input from Engineers and report at higher level.
  • Facilitate Preventive Maintenance Optimization and provide technical and reliability input.
  • Issues periodic reports demonstrating assets health condition in a simple & easy structure to allow Operation & maintenance team to fully understand & utilize.
  • Manage and forecast financial budgets and to be a focal point for Field improvement projects and budget.
  • Develop Economic modeling and implementation.
  • Conduct optimization and capacity studies and analyze to drive improvement for the in-service facilities and equipment and support new business initiatives. The focus will be target assurance, reliability, capacity factor, availability and respective management and overall optimization of equipment and maintenance plans.
  • Development of staff members, maintaining personnel development plans, evaluation of personnel performance, team compliance with safety programs, identifying training needs, approvals and coordination of leaves and other HR related activities.
  • Monitor, coach and develop the Engineers to ensure competence requirements are met.
  • Ensure Oxy safety and environmental policies are followed.

  • Bachelor’ s Degree in Engineering preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in rotating equipment and familiar with reliability programs such as (MTBF, RCFA, bad actors, oil condition, etc.).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in supervisory role.
  • Experience in diverse expertise in rotating equipment of oil and gas fields or/and petrochemicals plants.
  • Knowledge of reliability engineering concepts and application and as well as vibration technician knowledge.
  • Able to evaluate system efficiency involving rotating equipment and ability to propose and deploy reliability improvement technologies/solutions and reliability programs.
  • Preferable to have Maintenance Reliability Professionals certificate and Cat-I Vibration Analyst certificate. 
  • Good knowledge in TPR methodologies (i.e. QR analysis, life cycle cost, RAM analysis).
  • Proficient in applications of predictive, surveillance and analytical software platforms such as OSI-PI.
  • Project management: planning, measuring progress of work, managing risks and costs, executing within human and financial resources and reporting on progress (preferably in SAP PM, P6 project management software).
  • SAP knowledge will be an advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
