• Manage the execution of the operations carried outbytheWPH/Standalone units or others well services companiesfollowingthework-over programs in accordancewithinternationally recognizedWell Engineering standards ensuringthatthe wells are worked over inthe most efficient, cost effective andsafe manner.
• Assists in the Management of individualwellinterventionprograms. Performs supervisory functions andexercisesfinancialauthority at the level established bySeniorManagement for this position
• Approve E&D work over proposals and make sureWIEprepareall work over programs in advance.
• Co-ordinate the planning, programming, callingoffandexecution of all well site activities, from mobilization toanewlocation, through completing wells.
• Provide comprehensive reporting of all wellsiteactivitiesensuring that they are transmitted as perCompanyrequirements. Writtenreporting should be complete and ofhighquality; verbal reportingshould be in clear and conciseEnglish.
• Apply the new and latest techniques and technology inordertoreduce work over cost and improve well delivery qualities.
• Follow up day to day well interventioncostexpenditure,review and approve the monthly Value of work done(VOWD),annual wellservice budgets for Hoist, Slick line andothers.To control andmeasure the consumption cost against ACV.
• Approve authorization for expenditure (AFEs)requestwithestimated costs and time frame. Check and reviews allwellinterventioninvoices and get them approved byWellIntervention team Leader.
• Assists with the preparation and evaluationofwellintervention program tenders
• Participate on well intervention budget preparation
• Improve the execution, quality of work-overandwellIntervention activities by optimizing proven techniquesandpractices,and innovative operating methods.
• Monitor the operational and technical performanceofwell-sitecontractor resources against agreed indicators, forsurfaceandsub-surface activities; verify that thequalityand costeffectiveness of the work-over and well completionproductsdelivered byhis well-site organization is meeting agreedcustomer specifications.
• Ensure that the WPH/Standalone units andwellinterventioncompanies keeps up to date with all reportingrequirements(Dailyreports, EDM, HSE reports, action pointcloseout, completionreports, end of well, etc.).
• Works extensively with EDM and other softwareasappropriateto utilize the drilling information database.
• Assist in preparation of work over procedures,programsandEnd of well reports if requested.
• Undertakes the training of Omani nationals as directed by Management.
• Undertakes similar or related duties andassistWellIntervention Engineer at office as requested by the Managementofthe Company
• Ensure the availability of resources to manageHSEinconsultation with managers.
• Ensure that project specific HSE plan activities are under compliance
• Ensure that DALEEL employees are adequatelytrainedandcompetent in matters relating to HSE.
• Ensure that hazards/environmental aspectsareidentified,risks/environmental impacts assessed and controls established
• Ensure that all legal requirements are under compliance
• Ensure that company HSE policies and procedures are followed
• Ensure that safety is maintained in work places
• Participate in all HSE programs as and when called for
المهارات المطلوبة
Minimum Academic Qualifications:
• B.Sc in Mechanical, Petroleum or equivalent
Minimum Work experience:
• At least 6 years in well Intervention operations (WPH, FBU, CTU, slick lines,…) with experience on running A/L ( ESP, Beam Pump and PCP sucker rods)
