The Mechanical Integrity Technician will be responsible for Administrating the Mechanical Integrity (MI) programs including Risk Based Inspections (RBI) of vessels, tanks and pipes, corrosion monitoring, chemical treatment monitoring, cathodic protection monitoring and surveys and QA/QC of projects and documentations of all activities.
The Mechanical Integrity Technician responsibilities will include but not limited to
College Diploma with minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical integrity including inspection & corrosion activities OR General Diploma Certificate (Secondary School) with minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical integrity including inspection & corrosion activities.
Experience in Pressure Vessel, Piping, Storage Tank, and welding inspections and repair.
Preferred that a candidate have familiarity with ASME, API, ASTM and NACE.
Understanding of the basic principles of corrosion, metallurgy and materials of construction, welding procedures.
Experience in as NDT Technician II, including (UT, MT, PT, VT) and or Nace certified corrosion technician would be an advantage.
