An experienced Petrophysicist to be the Petrophysics Lead for the Southern Directorate to act as Petrophysics level 2 (TA2) technical authority across the South Directorate to ensure a quality and fit-for-purpose delivery of petrophysical technical, operational and WRM (surveillance) products - the incumbent of this position will have passed the formal Shell TA2 assessment To represent and support the Head of Petrophysics in the South Directorate in staff related matters (succession planning, recruitment, training) To represent and support the Head of Petrophysics in the South Directorate in technical related matters (contract management, KPI monitoring, new technology introduction, software matters) To ensure (in conjunction with the Functional PP coach) quality coaching of petrophysical staff in the Southern Directorate To play a leading role in the planning and execution of PP activities in a Cluster of the Southern Directorate aimed at short and medium term field development and production activities, reservoir management and scope maturation. In this role it is expected that, at least, up to 50% of the incumbents time is related to PP accountabilities across the Directorate (as described above) Dimensions Budget: None Subordinates: None Internal Interfaces: South Clusters (and Cluster Mgt.), Other Southern Directorate Discipline Ldrs., Integrated Study teams, Corporate Petrophysics Discipline (and other Disciplines), Planning teams, Well Engineering, New Technology External Interfaces: Shell EP, Shareholders, Service companies

University degree in Science or Engineering. A minimum of 15 years petrophysical experience. Strong experience in well/reservoir surveillance Experience in assurance of (integrated) petrophysical deliverables; TA2 accreditation. A passion for petrophysics and with strong interest in the integration of petrophysical results with the other disciplines. A solid understanding of PT2020 with emphasis on efficient execution and competitive scoping Personal characteristics should include: Well developed inter-personal and communication skills Experience working in a dynamic multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural team Proven track record in coaching and developing staff.
