الوصف الوظيفي

The Field Supervisor/ Well Test Supervisor has an authority in the field. He is responsible and accountable for all HSSE and operational activities in the block area and well sites. All activities are to be executed as per company procedures and issued programs. Any deviation shall be risk assessed and follow the formal MOC process. The two back-to-back Field Supervisors shall ensure between them that messages and all day-to-day duties are aligned.  
The Field Supervisor’s duties are:
  • Ensure that field activities are executed in compliance with ARA policies and procedures.
  • Ensure a healthy HSSE culture in the field and that all incidents are reported and followed up.
  • Lead in crisis situations as per Emergency Response procedure.
  • Ensure that safety drills are performed as per schedule and logged.
  • Be visible in the field and supervise the jobs.
  • Assure that the facilities and wells are:
    • Operated safely and environmentally correct within given laws and company policies.
    • Maintained cost effectively and to optimal performance.
    • Operated effectively according to given instructions.
  • Execute and implementation of new projects/upgrades within budget and time.
  • Ensure that daily reports are submitted on time.
  • Host VIP field visits.
  • Provide and engage timely in communication with the town. 
The Field Supervisor’s performance is measured on HSSE records, production optimization and cost control.

المهارات المطلوبة

The person has adopted a strong attitude to safety and pursues best practices in regards to the environment and the health of field personnel. The person has good formal manager skills – a practitioner and he shall be a leader, who is followed. He or she is an excellent communicator in small and large forums and is able to clearly transmit a message to all corners of the field organisation. Skill levels are expected to be mastery in management, safety, laws, maintenance and production operation optimization.

He or she has a BSc. Engineering degree, the required safety certificates and Emergency Response training.
