Demonstrate personal commitment to process and personal safety at all times, ensuring that BP HSSE and Operating Discipline expectations are met.
Compliance with all process safety aspects of operations, including MOC, ORA, overrides etc
as required, for all installation and maintenance work prior to operation.
Comply with all aspects of the COW process
Prepare process, utility, and energy isolations, perform integrity and pre start-up checks, process line-ups, and ensure site procedures are followed for operations, plant modifications and training.
Prepare equipment for maintenance activities by ensuring a zero energy state, assist with repairs when required and safely return equipment to service when repairs are completed.
Maintain an awareness of the site major risks and ongoing operational risks
Monitor and ensure that facility operations remain within the parameters stated in the Operations Manual or as required by the Site Supervisor. Control equipment and process, monitor events, materials and surroundings.
Maintain accurate Station logs, watch keeping reports, and handover reports of all activities.
Optimise plant and equipment performance and where options for plant optimisation exist ensure they are raised with the site leadership and AEST team, identify CI opportunities and participate in root cause failure investigations as required.
Maintain competence in accordance with CMAS standards.
Review work procedures as required ensuring accuracy of procedures used to operate plant and equipment
Provide operations input to projects and TAR preparation as well as supporting vendors and visitors as required.
المهارات المطلوبة
Applicant must be an Omani national.
· At least 7 years’ experience in an production operations role with an operating gas, oil or petrochemical processing plant.
· NVQ3, City and Guilds or equivalent qualification in a production discipline.
· English language proficiency in written and spoken English.
· Experience with control of work processes and safety rules.
Experience of isolation and re-instatement of process equipment.
