The Senior Warehouseman oversee the warehouse process and activities in Oman North field. Senior Warehouseman effectively supervise Jr. Warehousemen and maintain smooth operations of warehouse. People in this role should have a commitment to getting warehouse tasks completed and a hands-on approach to all HES, and security issues.
The Senior Warehouseman responsibilities include but not limited to:
Ensure all warehouse activities are in-compliance with Safety, Environment and Health rules and regulations.
Ensure the acquisition of material in a timely and cost effective manner in supporting of field operations.
Establish good business relationship and partnership with operations & Facilities departments.
Liaise with Operation departments to improve standardization of materials and improve specification to reduce production time.
Lead materials physical count and ensure all material physical quantities matches system data.
Provide training, coaching and mentoring to Jr. Warehousemen.
Assigns workers to accurately receive and stock all inbound frights.
Assures accurate and timely posting of materials receipts and issues outs.
College Diploma with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in warehouse management in Oil and Gas industry OR General Diploma Certificate (High school) with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in warehouse management in Oil and Gas industry.
Knowledge of oil field – construction materials & logistics is preferred.
