الوصف الوظيفي

• Provide expert input across the range of HR issues – including Omani Labour Law, Recruitment & Selection, Pay and Reward, Employee Benefits, Performance and Talent Management, Succession Planning, Omanisation, Employee Relations, Training and Development, through to employee Exit.
• Work closely with HR colleagues to ensure that HR processes, policies and procedures are aligned, consistent and enhance employee engagement and ultimately improve performance.
• Coach and build the capability of the function managers, including to anticipate and pre-empt organisational issues.
• Manages, coaches and mentors the HR staff within the assigned BU.
• Keep up to date with external trends and best practice in HR and continuously drive improvements in policies and procedures within CCED, proactively sharing best practice.
• Build relationships internally, in particular with those in the business unit responsible for, but also across other CCED BU’s and with external counterparts, networking to share HR knowledge.
• Be one of the ambassadors to represent CCED HR internally and externally, including with the Ministry of Manpower and Ministry of Oil and Gas (as appropriate).
• Provide HR Systems Officer with all relevant HR information.

المهارات المطلوبة

• Desirable; a business related Degree and a CIPD or equivalent qualification.
• 10-15 years substantial relevant HR experience, ideally gained in Oil Industry, or other leading high technical or knowledge based industry.
• Interest in and knowledge of current thinking in Human Resources issues and trends.
• Experience of operating in a business partner model, working with local managers to create positive business outcomes.
• Ability to present sound and well-reasoned practical solutions to people management issues and the confidence to argue to convince others.
• Is ready and able to take the initiative, originate action and take responsibility for the consequences of the decisions made;
• Adapts and works effectively with a variety of situations, individuals or groups.
• Is able to understand and appreciate different and opposing perspectives on an issue, to adapt an approach as the requirements of a situation change, and to change or easily accept changes in one’s own organisation or job requirements;
• Capable of managing, coaching and mentoring junior HR professionals.
• Can maintain personal effectiveness by managing own emotions in the face of pressure, set-backs or when dealing with provocative situations.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
• Can demonstrate an approach to work that is characterised by commitment and motivation;
• Understand and supports CCED’s vision and is commercially aware;
• Role models CCED’s values and behaviours.
