The Associate Petrophysicist works closely with geologists, engineers, geophysicists, and reservoir modelers to identify, develop and execute economically successful Exploration & development projects. Required roles will include both operational coordination of well data acquisition, evaluation programs, and support for major studies.
Provide petrophysical input to prospects and plays evaluation, including rock and fluid property evaluations and QC.
Coordinates and plan the data acquisition activities to support Drilling and Operations (well logging, coring, fluid sampling etc.).
Monitor logging operations; ensure that program and procedures are adhered.
Carry out the post-logging quality control and decide on the subsequent course of action in case log quality is unacceptable.
Analyzes and interprets newly logged wells to support team operations.
Designs, coordinates, and evaluates core acquisition and analysis.
Conduct all tasks related to multi-well reservoir Petrophysics.
Communicate with contractors on data quality, operations and invoicing issues.
Deliver petrophysical evaluation and communicate the results to the team and shareholders.
Write a full petrophysical report addressing data acquisition, issues and interpretation of well results.
