Job Title:Plant Manager,Department:NGLE Operation,Job Purpose:Under general direction of, and with delegated authority from, the Joint Steering Committee (JSC) through the Operations Director, acting as: (1) Functional Owner of the Asset with full responsibility to govern, manage, guide, assure, operate and control the safe, smooth, reliable and most profitable day-to-day operation of the Facilities comprising the Fahud NGL Extraction Plant and Pipeline, and operate the Facilities 24 hours/day; (2) Prudent operator in compliance with licence to operate requirements, ensure safety, production, plant integrity and process safety, availability, utilization, energy consumption, cost, emergency response, and product(s) quality targets to support yearly and longer-term plans and objectives for gross margin and profitability of the business are achieved or exceeded; (3) Apply management of change methodology to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement to deliver and enhance business competitiveness; (4) Ensure effective collaboration between departments and functions in a matrix organization with the vertical line to deliver expected outcomes; (5) Ensure proper organizational capacity for business continuity including mentoring and developing staff with special emphasis on Oman nationals; with the ultimate goal to meet or exceed production targets.
All in accordance with strategies, policies, guidelines, technology platform, plans, manuals, processes, procedures, standards, codes, protocols, prudent practices, legal requirements, best international practice generally and to the highest ethical standards.
Discharge frontline duties of Operations Manager as required.,Roles and Responsibilities:General
 Deliver highest standard of Asset Integrity by notifications and prioritization for execution of planned, programmed, turnaround (TAR) and extraordinary maintenance
 Deliver highest standard of Process Safety by ensuring all barriers are in place, effective and functioning to prevent loss of containment and leaks
 Comply with licence to operate requirements in all respects
 Operate the Asset in compliance with strategies, policies, guidelines, technology platform, plans, manuals, processes, procedures, standards, codes, protocols, prudent practices, legal requirements, best international practice generally, and to the highest ethical standards
Leadership
 As Owner of the Asset accountable for all HSE, production, reliability, cost and margin results, inspire operational excellence in staff through clear expression of the corporate vision and direction of the business
 Lead by example with ethical behaviour in all respects, transparency and openness
 Manage, mentor, coach, guide and lead a motivated, engaged, high performing team across the Asset to deliver the O&M Plan
 “Walk The Talk†frontline visibility while empowering staff accordingly
المهارات المطلوبة
Qualifications
 HND or Degree in Chemical Engineering or approved equivalent
 MBA preferred
 Institute Of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM) preferred
Experience
 Fifteen (15) years experience as Owner/Operator in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, or Refinery industry including six (6) years in similar management position
 Cold or cryogenic experience preferred
 Commissioning and Start-Up experience preferred
