Job Title:Support Engineer,Department:NGLE Operations,Job Purpose:Provides professional technical & engineering expertise pertaining to SAP at maintenance department and related operation team, under Manager Maintenance scope's, as SAP service provider for planned and non-planned maintenance works, projects & modifications in accordance with the technical standards set by TSD to maintain the assets; through (1) Planning and executing SAP maintenance activities (2) Coordination of routine and non-routine maintenance and requirements critical/ priority issues in SAP, (3) SAP engineering maintenance (review, justify and prioritize all SAP Work Orders raised by end users, determine maintenance resource requirements and ensure readiness and availability of required resources and equipment to facilitate maintenance work), Monitoring work in progress (including inspection of operations), and (4) ensure satisfaction of the end user towards maintenance work completion and corrective action; in order to ensure maximum availability of plant at all times, optimizing the cost, time & resource utilization, minimizing the down time and meeting the operational targets that support the gross margin / profitability with a sufficient organisational capability for business continuity while identifying & developing talent people to as feeder for NGLE talent pipeline.
Engineer SAP Support position will act in accordance with NGLEs' values & strategies, policies, guidelines, technology platform, HSE standards, Omani's government & other legal justification's, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives and Ethics standards.,Roles and Responsibilities:Coordination with Maintenance
 Coordination of routine and non-routine maintenance requirements of NG Extraction Unit Area 1 Operations department to optimize plant availability for operations covering all maintenance disciplines through SAP.
 Coordinates with maintenance planners for day to day activities and expedite critical/ priority issues in SAP.
Planning and Evaluating
 Review all SAP notifications (Work Orders) raised by end users and ensure they are clear and justified.
 Assess SAP notifications (Work Order) and determine maintenance resource requirements.
 Ensure readiness and availability of required resources and equipment to facilitate maintenance work by providing them a safe environment.
 Determines priorities for maintenance work and ensures maintenance in completed before it becomes high priority.
Monitoring Work In Progress
 Monitors work execution and provide guidance to maintenance staff.
 Ensure all maintenance and inspection work being carried out in the assigned operations area is in compliance with the company guidelines and standards.
 Monitors the progress of maintenance and inspection activities.
Work Completion
 Ensure satisfaction of the end user towards maintenance corrective action.
 Ensure all inspection activities are carried out as scheduled.
 Ensure maintenance schedules are met and SAP notifications (Work Orders) are closed after completion of job.
 Ensure all jobs are accomplished in a cost effective manner.
المهارات المطلوبة
Knowledge Experience & Qualifications:
 Minimum Qualifications for this position is a University degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
 Total overall experience 8 Years. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience as a SAP Support within the Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical / Power industry.
 Knowledge of the gas process and plant equipment.
 Knowledge of maintenance best practices.
 Knowledge of reading and interpreting P&ID and PFD.
