Job Title:Rotating Machinery Engineer,Department:NGLE Operations,Job Purpose:Provides engineering assistance to all maintenance staff & external contractors in performing rotating services on planned planned / un-planned maintenance activities in designated areas and all related operations, under Senior Engineer Mechanical scope's, as Technical Service provider of maintenance and execution of minor projects, modifications in accordance with the technical standards set by TSD to maintain the assets; through (1) Delivery and execution of reliability and maintenance of all rotating equipment within NGLE facilities in accordance to maintenance best practice & department strategy; in order to ensure that the assets and equipment are available at all times, minimizing the down time and meeting the operational targets that support the gross margin / profitability with a sufficient organisational capability for business continuity while identifying & developing talent people to as feeder for NGLE talent pipeline.
Engineer – Rotating machinery position will act in accordance with NGLE' values & strategies, approved HR policies & procedures, technology platform, HSE standards, Omani's government & other legal justification's, and best HR international practices in consonance with national objectives.,Roles and Responsibilities: Deliver and implement rotating equipment reliability and maintenance within NGLE facilities.
 Communicate/coordinate with regional operations team to help establish maintenance repair priorities.
 Develop and implement preventive maintenance, condition monitoring programs and Strategies to ensure reliability of rotating equipment.
 Proactively help resolve rotating equipment failures using problem solving troubleshooting, failure analysis techniques.
 Develop and implement equipment upgrades that meet NGLE targets and help optimize capital and operation budgets.
 Work Closely with Operations & Maintenance team to control, measure, report, and improve maintenance and reliability performance indicators.
 Provide technical solutions to ensure mechanical integrity, reliability, safety and environmental integrity.
 Provide day-to-day technical support to regional operation teams to ensure the reliability and operation of the GTF facilities.
 Prevent major failures of rotating equipment through equipment surveillance and vibration analysis.
 Reviewing exception reports, analyzing exceptions and providing recommendations for corrective action.
 Proactively analyzing plant reliability and down-time data to identify current and future defects.
 Resolving and preventing reliability defects by removing validated root causes and verifying long-term effectiveness of solutions.
 Review reports and provide recommendations for corrective action.
 Provide recommendations for new PM procedures for specific assets as warranted by maintenance history and best practices.
 Participate in technical reviews, Hazops, SAT, FAT and other meetings as required.
 Coordinate with projects department during the development of new projects until commissioning and final handover.
 Ensure operations and maintenance of rotating equipment in the regions are in accordance with laws and regulations of the Government of Oman, rules and regulations of the Ministry of Oil and Gas, recognized industry standards and established Quality and HSE procedures & policies.
 Ensure public safety and gas deliverability by maintaining the functionality and integrity of the company's facilities.
 Ensure that records systems, engineering drawings and operations and maintenance databases are kept updated.
 Constantly review facilities and operations for improvements in operability, reliability, safety and integrity and provide written feedback to the Operations and Maintenance Manager.
 Support Operations and Maintenance Manager and provide leadership, mentoring and training to staff assigned in the region.
 Implement and adhere to Quality and HSE programs in accordance with Company policies.
 Provide support for any emergency response.
 Ensure public safety and gas deliverability by maintaining the functionality and integrity of the company's facilities.
 Carry out regular audits in facilities and identify areas of improvement.
 Any other duties as assigned and where indicated in the QMS Documentation System
المهارات المطلوبة
Knowledge & Experience:
 Minimum Qualifications for this position is either:
 University degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
 8 Years of overall experience. Minimum years relevant of experience is 4 years in a similar role.
Or:
 DipIoma in relevant engineering discipline
 Minimum 10 years of Oil and Gas related experience of which a minimum of 7 years is similar position / related to maintenance and management of gas turbines and compressors.
 Strong familiarity in operating and maintaining the reliability of gas pipelines and gas extracting & processing plants.
 Familiarity with control systems and condition monitoring systems of rotating equipment.
 Knowledge of systematic root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and problem solving techniques
 Fully competent at budgeting, estimating and working with contracts and subcontractors.
 Strong ability to mentor, train and relationship build.
 Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
 Self-motivated and an enthusiastic team player capable of completing tasks in a group environment.
 Strong, positive attitude towards Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental management.
 Highly developed language skills in written and spoken Arabic and English.
 Possess a valid Omani driver's license.
Skills:
 Proficiency in M/S Office
 Closing work orders in SAP.
 Problem solving skills.

· Describe the key considerations in a strategic planning process and the importance of communicating a strategic focus. Describe the

· Design, develop and implement all facets of operational
management strategies, and diagnose challenges towards current
processes. Implement strategies with consistency and clear

· Apply thermodynamic principles to solve problems of heat
transfer, outline and describe vibrating systems and equipment for problem solving, describe corrosion processes to the control and prevention of harmful effect to mechanical systems.
· Describe piping systems, integrity issues of project oriented
specifications, the design, & selection of materials, apply and analyze piping safety codes, standards and statutory requirements and describe components of an Integrity and Mgmt. Plan (IMP) for gas pipelines.
