• Contribution to meet Operations HSE needs
• Ensure safe handling of Lab chemicals.
• Ensure Zero LTI, zero incidents in all lab activities
• Prepare procedures & SOP for newly developed methods
• Train field Lab team
• Daily monitoring of Lab analysis and efficiency.
• Contracts Management
• Production chemicals quality control & assurance
• Efficient budgeting of Laboratory department
• Timely maintenance and calibration of equipment.
• Prompt follow-up on lab trials
• Smooth production operations
• Production systems efficiency improvement
• Meeting crude and Injection water specification
• Perform daily Oil, Gas and Water analysis.
• Coaching Field Laboratory team on Analytical methods and Standards of Oil and Gas/Petroleum Industry.
• Develop workflows and procedures (SOPs) for all 4 location laboratories.
• Role requires interacting with production personnel and contract staff to understand laboratory and chemical application QAQC issues.
• Ensuring annual maintenance and periodic calibration of the analytical equipment’s is carried out in timely manner.
• Daily consumables tracking and chemical/reagent stock management.
• Timely raising contracts to ensure availability of lab consumables/reagents and test kits at all times in the field.
• Develops proposals for lab trials and liaison with contractors.
• Closely monitor contractor service quality.
• Laboratory budget tracking
• Perform tasks and duties as directed by the Chemical Application Lead.
• Responsible for the HSE performance of CCED Lab team & contractor staff.
• Report immediately to the Chemical Application Lead on all safety issues, equipment malfunctions that could potentially interfere laboratory management.
• Should be knowledgeable on chemicals handling aspects, safe transportation and transfers.
• Should have the knowledge on chemical spills controls, spills mitigation and management.
• Should have the knowledge of MSDS requirements to be adhered to for overall safety.
• Raising new PR’s and tracking the procurement process progress.
• Coordinating with the CMS vendor on lab test protocols.
• Should be able to identify Lab HSE requirements like PPE’s, chemical storage and disposal of lab samples and reagents, lab ambient air monitoring and controls.
• Ability to undertake multiple tasks in parallel.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to write concise and qualitative reports.
• Computer literate (LIMS, MS Word, Excel and Power Point, Adobe etc.)
المهارات المطلوبة
• Diploma or degree in Analytical Chemistry or Laboratory with 8 years’ experience in similar role, with minimum 4 years as Senior Lab Technician
• Experience in wet chemistry laboratory testing and/or have a Laboratory Technician or Analytical Chemistry diploma or degree.
• Ability to undertake multiple tasks in parallel.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to write concise and qualitative reports.
• Computer literate (MS Word, Excel and Power Point, Adobe etc.)
• Able to support and interact with production operations proactively.
• Able to work in a team so as to be responsible for taking on and carrying out instructions and work assignments.
• Require minimal supervision when undertaking laboratory tasks and activities.
• Able to work with and support engineers, senior technicians, HSE personnel, production operations staff and 3rd party contractors.
• Committed to implementing and improving HSE guidelines and policies.
• Familiar with laboratory operations safety requirements.
