الوصف الوظيفي

The Well Services HES Supervisor will be responsible for providing Health, Environment, & Safety support to the Oman Well Services Team.  The primary focus will be the safe and efficient operation of well servicing operations and associated equipment in support of the Oman development.
 
The Well Services HES Supervisor responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
  • Coordinate and support the implementation of HES Management System (HESMS) & EMS (Emergency Management System), including program implementation, audits, inspections, contractor HES program support, and other HES activities applicable to well servicing operation. 
  • Teaches and mentors Well Servicing staff in the application of all company and regulatory HES related policies and procedures. Conducts inspections and compliance audits against applicable performance standards for both Oxy and contractor equipment and service.
  • Works with HES Advisor in developing key metrics and prepare reports related to well servicing HES performance. 
  • Coordinates and/or leads incident investigations and monitors incident close out progress.
  • Active participant in contractor safety meetings.
  • Supports HES Team with well service units/rig and equipment inspections, risk identification/mitigation, and program input.
  • Provide HES inspection of well servicing rigs and associated equipment / tools to ensure they are sound / properly guarded.
  • Routinely inspect Safe Work Practices and instruct team members on their proper application.
  • Development and delivery of HES training materials.

  • College Diploma with a minimum of 7 years experience of HES in Well Services or Drilling activities OR General Diploma Certificate /Secondary School with a minimum of 10 years experience of HES in Well Services or Drilling activities.
  • Oil and Gas industry experience is a must.
  • Well control certificate or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous work experience on well intervention operations – Workover, Well Testing, CTU, SL, EL, Hyd fracturing, stimulation and pumping preferred.
  • Ability to lead incident investigations and document findings.
  • Working knowledge of local or/and International HES standards and legislation as applicable to well servicing.
  • Clear remit of taking responsibility for suspending operations if applicable.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to facilitate Safety Meetings.
  • Good PC skills.
