Job Title:Instrument Engineer,Department:Maintenance,Job Purpose:Provides technical engineering expertise pertaining to instrument Maintenance across NGLE designated sites and all related operations, under Senior Engineer - Electrical, Instrument & Control as Technical Service provider of maintenance and execution of minor projects, modifications in accordance with the technical standards set by TSD to maintain the assets; through the (1) Develop, support and maintaining the instrument and control equipment both onshore and offshore to ensure that it remains efficient and productive, (2) Development of new project and improvements in instruments to improve solutions to facilities to ensure more reliability 3) Study and analyse chronic Instrument tuning problems and propose reliable solutions, and 4) ensure that Instrument Support Services preventive and corrective maintenance are accurately completed within the section; in order to support maintenance function to meet cost-effective, timely and efficient manner Engineer instrument position will act in accordance with NGLEs' values & strategies, policies, guidelines, technology platform, HSE standards, Omani's government & other legal justification's, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives and Ethics standards. ,Roles and Responsibilities: -Execution and completion of in house projects to specification. -Demonstrates effective contribution in liaising with vendors. -Spare part items comply with quantitative and qualitative requirements. -Ensures manpower availability for planned activities. -Demonstrates fulfilling routine duties in a timely and accurate manner. -Downtime due to electrical failures reduced to a minimum. -Hazards likely to be encountered are clearly outlined; accurate guidelines provided on how to carry the task safely. -Change timely & accurately communicated and employees trained how to handle it. -Assuring that work and project promises are successfully delivered and appropriate reviews have been conducted. -Clearly articulate work directions. -Demonstrates leadership in the development of sub-ordinates. -Gives accurate input to Team Leader regarding the department spend. -Highlights red flags regarding budget spend. -Demonstrates full knowledge of process & procedures. -No HSE compliance breaches -Continuous on-the-job application of the NGLE HSE routines -Zero non-conformance in the recording and filing of NGLE documents. -Office equipment is well maintained in accordance with NGLE policy. -Follows through with agreed IDP program and individual KPI's. -Expedites effective mentoring and training of staff where required. -Encourages a positive culture within the department toward change. -Provides accurate reporting delivered on time.

المهارات المطلوبة

Knowledge Experience & Qualifications: -Minimum Qualifications for this position is Bachelor Degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering or equivalent. -At least 8 Oil and Gas related experience in Mechanical with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role related to Operation and Maintenance of Gas Pipelines and Systems.
