Job purpose Execute engineering tasks assigned and project management activities (planning, control, delivery, development), under the authority of the Manager Project Major. Accountable for executing required project services with defined technical requirements and specifications, ensuring project management deliverables from contractors meet technical content requirements. Responsible for developing performance improvement plans to ensure the appropriate engineering tools and maintenance are available and properly utilized to support the respective business functions guaranteeing business continuity and efficiency The position will act according to the organization’s mission, vision, values, policies, and guidelines, supported by an IT technology platform, HSE standards, the Oman government, and other legal justifications and best international practices aligned with national objectives. |
Mandate QHSSE Obligations - Ensure compliance with the HSE Management System.
- Monitor and report safety performance and compliance.
- Guide, advise, communicate, and enforce safe behavioural practices (Life Saving Rules, Process Safety Rules) to perform tasks safely.

Main tasks and responsibilities - Coordinate, execute, and monitor project progress with engineering, asset owners, construction teams, contractors, and vendors daily.
- Prepare necessary project execution documentation (project execution plan, interface and coordination procedure, change order tracking).
- Develop the tender strategy and coordinate tender evaluations.
- Ensure design methods, standards, and data conform to asset owners’ requirements.
- Assign appropriate project management resources and monitor performance to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Liaise with vendor representatives and other functions on all project execution matters.
- Ensure HSSE and quality control procedures are followed, maintaining high safety standards in all project-related work.
- Participate in and coordinate pre-and post-award activities for various project execution and service contracts.
- Coordinate and participate in project reviews, meetings, and workshops.
- Address project challenges identified during the development of the Front-End Package or EPC phase.
- Identify gaps in existing practices and tools and manage the development of new practices to enhance the technological offerings.
- Ensure the availability of resources to supervise and inspect project execution and resource deployment according to the project schedule.
- Establish major methods and data as necessary, ensuring the selection of the optimal project design from both technical and economic perspectives.

Working Conditions Primarily office-based, occasional travel, and sporadic visits to the operation site. |
Education requirements Bachelor’s Degree, or Diploma, or equivalent. |
Language Preferable English and Arabic. |
Experience and background. From 8 to 10 years of experience in project engineering, sourcing, logistics construction, commissioning, and maintenance management in the oil and gas sectors. Understand the role of the technical functions related to (technical services, projects, operations and maintenance). |
