Job Description
Assist in organizing and conducting physical training and firefighting exercises for the auxiliary team to ensure operational readiness. • Participate in monthly fire mock drills across the plant, document outcomes, and recommend improvements for enhanced preparedness. • Conduct fire safety inspections of company properties, buildings, plants, and areas of special risk, identifying hazards and recommending corrective actions. • Maintain accurate records of fire safety equipment, including inspections, repairs, and testing schedules for firefighting systems, breathing apparatus (BA), and portable fire extinguishers. • Ensure daily inspections and operational readiness of fire trucks, reporting any defects for immediate action. • Support testing, inspection, and maintenance of all fire equipment, life support systems, and firefighting vehicles to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards. • Follow up on corrective actions required to bring company properties into compliance with fire codes and ordinances, conducting regular follow-up inspections. • Provide refresher firefighting training to Daleel staff and auxiliary team to maintain competency and awareness. • Assist in coordinating fire safety responses and communication during fire emergencies and drills. • Support the fire officer in documenting incidents, preparing activity reports, and maintaining comprehensive logs for audits and reviews. • Ensure the firefighting team remains alert and fully prepared to respond promptly to all fire, gas release, oil spill, and emergency situations.
Skills Required
Minimum Academic Qualifications: • Diploma in Firefighting or equivalent Minimum Work Experience: • 4-9 years’ experience in firefighting. • Competent physical fitness and ability to lead fire teams. • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under supervision.
