Job Description
Sr. Process Engineer shall manage all the Process Engineering activities including designing, implementing, and optimizing various processes related to oil production and produced water treatment.
Skills Required
-Bachelor's degree in chemical, manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a related field.
-Bachelor's degree in chemical, manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a related field.
-The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
-Proficiency in process engineering software applications and modelling.
Other Job Details
-Develop and optimize process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) for oil and gas facilities.
-Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency enhancement, and cost reduction.
-Conduct simulations and modelling to optimize process parameters, equipment sizing, and performance.
-Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
-Evaluate the performance and integrity of equipment such as pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and separators.
-Conduct technical studies and analyses to troubleshoot process issues and propose solutions.
-Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of process equipment and systems.
-Implement and maintain process safety management systems.
-Conduct hazard and risk assessments, including HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) studies.
-Identify and mitigate process safety risks to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of personnel and assets.
-Comply with environmental regulations and develop strategies for waste management and emissions reduction.
-Participate in project teams and provide technical expertise during the design, construction, and commissioning phases.
-Develop project specifications, cost estimates, and schedules for process-related activities.
-Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and propose corrective actions.
-Prepare technical reports, engineering documents, and operating procedures.
-Maintain accurate records of process data, equipment performance, and maintenance activities.
-Provide clear and concise communication to stakeholders regarding process-related issues, improvements, and recommendations.
