The QA/QC Specialist will be responsible to lead Quality Management System (QMS) activities.
The QA/QC Specialist responsibilities include but not limited to:
Ensure work is performed in compliance with all applicable regulations and Company policies.
Conduct presentations to Senior Management on QMS, awareness, guidance on methodologies and performance tracking for continuous improvement of system.
Provide strategic support for QMS Implementation across Oxy Oman business units and departments.
Lead Quality Awareness initiatives to foster engagement and adoption of best practices across Oxy Oman.
Propose strategies for implementing continuous improvement and innovation throughout the Company.
Participate in training of departmental internal auditors and provide assistance in preparation of audits.
Develop and review internal audit schedules for all departments and Company.
Perform analyses of timely resolutions of Non-conformances and Corrective actions from Internal and External audits.
Prepare and maintain activity planning and KPIs related to QMS implementation and awareness, NCR and CAR resolution and communicate findings to Senior Management.
Support with preparing service contracts for QMS related activities.
Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Management, Business Development or an Engineering discipline.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in implementing Quality Management Systems (QMS) in a major organization.
Preferably ISO Lead Auditor 9001 and Internal Auditor qualifications and experience.
Experience in strategic quality management, quality policy development and implementation over multiple locations to foster a quality driven culture.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-starter and deals well with ambiguous situations.
