Responsibilities includes below as minimum but not necessarily limited to them only:
• Focal point for risk assessment, HAZOP, HAZID and QRA performance as per CCED HSE procedure and guideline
• Actively antiparticipation/lead Loss Prevention & Process Hazard Reviews for projects and operating facilities
• Ensure adequate existing safeguards and recommend additional safeguards as required to meet Loss Prevention & Process Safety Criteria
• Perform studies on qualitative and quantified risks as well as regulatory requirements
• Together with internal stakeholders, provide solutions in alignment to company's global guidelines
• Facilitate Risks assessment workshops and ensure conformance to the safety requirements as per CCED HSE guidelines and local and international HSE-related codes and standards
• lead PSM workshops (i.e. HAZOP leader certified by IChemE)
• Oversee firefighting equipment design and specifications inclu
• firefighting water ring, foam system, deluge system, etc.
• Oversee F&G system design philosophies and plant requirements
• Oversee F&G mapping studies, HAC drawings and Escape route drawings prepared by contractors, Hydraulic calculations for network and equipment specifications
• Oversee gas and H2S dispersion studies, review reports and ensure conformance to the codes and CCED requirements
• Oversee flare radiation studies, review reports and ensure conformance to the latest codes and CCED requirements
• Review PHAST and Pipenet models prepared by contractors to confirm accuracy and conformance
• Ensure process-safety aspects of FCPs are well evaluated
• Actively attend as safety focal point in 3D model review, constructability review as well as other EPC workshops
• Review vendor documents for firefighting and safety related systems such as fire pump, foam maker, gas/H2S detectors, monitor, Hydrant, etc.
المهارات المطلوبة
• Min Qualification: Chemical Engineering BSc & Preferred MSC in relevant discipline
• Experience: Minimum 15years preferred in Oil & Gas Industry with 5-10 years’ experience in Process safety engineering across both ‘green field and brown field’ environments
• Demonstrable competence and understanding of Risk Management principals and Risk Management processes covering concept, FEED, detailed engineering, commissioning and operations.
• Expert in Change Management
• Safety standards, including ISO 14971, 24971, IEC 61508,IEC62366,etc;
• Skills of risk analysis techniques, such as FMEA, PHA etc.
• Applying Hazard Identification and risk assessment methods as part of a product or process plant development process;
• Creating risk assessments on systems
• Full familiarity with Project Development Cycles and Technical Authority mechanisms
• Skills: MS Windows, Microsoft office, PHAST, Pipenet
• Previous Middle East experience essential (local experience is a plus)
