Job Title:Workshop & Warehouse Supervisor,Department:Maintenance Department,Job Purpose:Supervise and coordinates, the Workshop & Warehouse across NGLE under General Maintenance Support Services Engineer scope, as Technical Service provider for the operations; through the allocation, inspection and close of work orders to facilitate daily planning of the pre-assigned activities in the workshop & supervising the activities of the team in performing all maintenance tasks required for good operation of equipment; in order to ensure mechanical maintenance of all equipment within day to day maintenance activities, as well as, during plants' turnaround and overhauls.
Supervisor Central Workshop & Warehouse position will act in accordance with NGLE's values & strategies, policies, guidelines, technology platform, HSE standards, Omani's government & other legal justification's, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives and Ethics standards.
,Roles and Responsibilities:
Workshops
- Allocates work orders and facilitates daily planning of the pre-assigned activities in the workshop, such as welding, fabrication, machining, repairing and testing activities.
- Supervises the activities of the team in performing all maintenance tasks required for good operation of equipment.
- Inspects completed work for conformity to requirements and arranges for the installation and testing of fabricated parts.
- Executes the section's preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for machinery and power tools in the workshop and for equipment kept in the Tool room.
- Prepares lists of stock items required in the workshop, on a rolling basis
- Maintains the assigned equipment's technical files.
- Executes toolbox talks with the team prior to commencing of any new job.
- Close all work orders in SAP system and informs General Maintenance Support Services Engineer about the status of pending works.
Warehouse:
- Lead the implementation of warehouse processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinates and supervises the work of warehouse team in order to meet the plan.
- Supervises, trains, and coaches warehouse technician & assistant activities and day to day warehouse works.
- Maintains inventory by scheduling materials as required.
- Organizes storage area in order to retain safe operation.
- Ensures the proper functioning of all warehouse tools and equipment.
- Improves warehouse operations efficiency.
- Satisfies internal spare parts, chemicals, catalysts and other requirements.
- Develops KPIs to measure performance.
المهارات المطلوبة
Knowledge Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualifications for this position is Diploma in mechanical technology or similar.
- Total experience of 10 Years in Oil & Gas industry. Minimal years of relevant experience is 4 years' experience in a similar role.
- Total experience of 5 Years in Procurement.
- Knowledge of workshop activities (welding, fabrication, machining etc.)
- Experience in inspection and testing.
Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Communication skills.
- Supervisory skills.
