Job Title:Senior Technical Support Engineer,Department:Technical Support,Job Purpose:Provides robust advice and engineering technical services to Operations Department and Maintenance Department at NGLE under Manager Technical Service's scope; acting as technical authority and owner of standards and codes to support the overall safe, smooth and reliable 24 hours/day operation, though (1) Providing technical services and support including interface with corporate technical support services to comply with licence to operate requirements, ensure safety, production, plant integrity and process safety, availability, utilization, energy consumption, cost, emergency response, and product(s) quality targets to support yearly and longer-term plans and objectives for gross margin and profitability of the business are achieved or exceeded, (2) Apply operational excellence and continuous improvement principles to maintain and enhance business competitiveness, (3) Ensure effective collaboration with other departments and functions in a matrix organization with the vertical line to deliver expected outcomes (4) Ensure proper organizational capacity for business continuity including mentoring and developing staff with special emphasis on Oman nationals; in order to support the production targets of the Facilities comprising the Fahud NGL Extraction Plant & Pipeline.
Senior Engineer - Technical Support position, will act in accordance with NGLEs' values & strategies, policies, guidelines, technology platform, HSE standards, Omani's government & other legal justification's, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives and Ethics standards.
,Roles and Responsibilities:-Maintain relevance and currency of standards and codes
-Ensure strict compliance with standards and codes
-Champion and ensure comprehensive and effective implementation of Management Of Change (MOC) across Facilities
-Champion continuous improvement including process optimization to identify and implement opportunities to increase availability, increase reliability, and increase productivity while driving down overall cost
-Deliver complete, comprehensive, cost-effective engineering solutions including project management and procurement to repair, improve, debottleneck, upgrade, or expand the Facilities as required
-Deliver document control and digital data support services
-Deliver inspection services across the Facilities
-Deliver laboratory services as required
المهارات المطلوبة
Qualifications
-Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or approved equivalent
Experience
-10 years relevant operations experience in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, or Refinery industry including six (6) years' experience in similar senior position
-Cold or cryogenic experience preferred
-Commissioning and Start-Up experience preferred
-At Management discretion experience requirements may be reduced in-lieu of approved training and development program
