Job purpose Execute the activities for change management under delegated authority from N-4 service deployment & management, acting as owner of change management standards, by establishing and executing the plan, directing and controlling all the activities related to change management; in order to support Information Management & digital Transformation at OQ to ensure the continuity and efficiency of the business. The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines and international standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani’s government & other legal justification’s, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives. |
Main tasks and responsibilities - Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities.
- Assess the change impact and complete change management assessments.
- Create a change management strategy.
- Identify, analyse and prepare risk mitigation tactics.
- Identify and manage anticipated resistance.
- Consult and coach project teams.
- Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communication plan, sponsor road map, coaching plan, training plan and resistance management plan.
- Support communication and training efforts.
- Support and engage senior leaders, and coach managers and supervisors.
- Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities.
- Coordinate efforts with other specialists within the Human Resources (HR) and other departments.
- Integrate change management activities into the project plan.
- Evaluate and ensure user readiness.
- Manage stakeholders while tracking and reporting issues.
- Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.
- Manage the portfolio and change load.

Education requirements | Minimum Qualifications for this position is a Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or related disciplines. |

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in similar role, in a large oil industry industrial organisation.
- Experience in project management / Change Management.
