Job purpose

Oversee the development of the Digital Architecture for OQ, under delegated authority from Digital Delivery N-4     developing architecture standards  ensuring and validating adherence of all solutions

The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines and international standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani’s government & other legal justification’s, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Oversee the entire Digital application landscape, including dependencies and businesses coverage
• Define Digital architectural reference model, and ensure alignment with the standards
• Co-develop, key architecture standards to drive interoperability and long term infrastructure growth
• Oversee the overall integration architecture ensuring interoperability across different technologies adopted by functions
• Contribute to the technology infrastructure architecture roadmap and identify opportunity for rationalization / alignment
• Work with delivery teams to define and / or validate technical architecture (integration, platforms) and liaise with infrastructure experts in IT
• Work and coordinate closely with IT to develop the Digital architecture scheme

External: Staffing specialized Contractors, Vendors & Suppliers

Notable Working Conditions. Office environment, intensive computer screen use, sporadic visits to operation site.

Education requirements

Minimum Qualifications for this position is a Bachelor’s degree information systems, computer science or related disciplines.

Language

Excellent knowledge of written, read, and spoken English (required) Arabic - Native (desirable)
