Responsibilities,
Accountabilities, Job Activities: The
production department will be responsible and accountable for:
a. Management (including recruitment) of
people that may be in involved in one or more of the following aspects
b. Overall safety and security of the
company’s (sub)surface mounted production equipment.
c. Production optimization with respect to
maximization of recovery d. Determination of oil rate and or oil
volumes sold, as well as quality of oil sold (fiscal metering)
e. Determination of liquid rate and
quality of same at any sourcing point, especially in light of mixing of fluids
in flowlines, and back allocations of fluid volume and quality of fluid (The
latter is required for PSA profit oil share determination and for reservoir
management) f. Design of surface network systems of flowlines, manifolds, and if
necessary compression best suited to optimally extract HC from reservoirs (in
combination with engineering)
g. Keeping abreast of the health status of
the wells and all surface systems, and minimization of production bottlenecks,
and management, including maintenance, of same
h. (Well) intervention analysis work with
the aim of production enhancement.
I. Annual non-CAPEX affected production forecast, ie NFA forecast as well
as OPEX affected production forecast.
j. Manage all logistical activities that are associated to above activities
k. Ensure that all activities are within
national or local legislation and comply to company guideline and procedures
l. Formulate together with Well Delivery Manager and Engineering Manager an
operations plan
The
production manager will also be in charge for the setting up and management of
(the security of) camps for production and intervention staff. He or she will
be held accountable for the well-being of the same staff as well as maintenance
and security of camp facilities.
The
production department is further responsible for sourcing, tendering,
contracting, mobilising, and managing of the early production systems that most
likely will be put in place to accelerate sales of HC streams. At the early
stages of the area, field development HC’s produced will be most likely
transported by means of trucks. The production manager will also engage
transport partners that will be able, in a safe and secure manner, to transfer,
transport, and hand-over to sales point trucked HC.
