الوصف الوظيفي

To provide welding engineering and NDT services to Projects and Assets to ensure as far as practically possible that operation under specified operating conditions, there is no foreseeable risk of failure endangering the safety of personnel, environment or asset value and technical integrity can be demonstrated. To achieve this, develop company specifications for welding and inspection, conduct assurance activities like reviews, audits. Approval of contractors performing welding and inspection services. Provide welding and NDT related support to materials and corrosion engineering, operations and Projects. Develop and deploy novel technologies by encouraging In-Country Value initiatives. Together with Corrosion Engineers in the team own, co-ordinate and manage welding and NDT activities for Assets and Projects.

- BSC./ BE qualification in Welding Engineering or Degree in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineer with IWE/EWE certification. Welding Inspection Personnel qualifications such as CSWIP/AWS shall not substitute as an acceptable qualification for Welding Engineer in lieu of the requirements given above - Shall have at least 7 years relevant experience in the construction of onshore oil & gas or petrochemical industry facilities (pressure vessels, tanks, mechanical fabrication, pipelines, piping, etc.).
