الوصف الوظيفي

The Exploration Directorate in PDO ensures identification and maturation of Prospective Resources, and delivery of commercial Contingent Resources to the various Development Assets in PDO. Early monetization is also a focus and is delivered through early hook-up of successful wells. To support this, subsurface projects are being carried out spanning the spectrum from regional evaluation to post-drill evaluations. All these projects require integration of all subsurface data sources including new WAZ seismic data, geological and petroleum engineering data, with close focus on the ultimate value of the potential discovery. The PDO Exploration New Opportunities Team (XEO) focuses on regional evaluation and play/lead identification. It is the portfolio engine responsible for the delivery of concepts and leads to ensure PDO's growth not only for the near term but for the future sustainability of Exploration. The successful candidate will be an experienced regional interpreter with strong geological skills, capable of leading regional play-based evaluations, with skills in integration of all play elements and capable of generating new play ideas for the longevity of known plays, and for opening up new plays. A critical aspect of this position to provide coaching to junior team members supporting the team lead in staff skills development in regional geology.
