Job purpose Execute OO Group’s interest in specific investee companies (assets), under TL Asset Management, acting as team player & primary liaison between investments assigned and OQ Group as required, through: (1) Monitor performance of assets and drive value addition of portfolio investments assigned, (2) Provide regular reports on investments that compare actual performance to projected performance & ensure compliance of portfolio to plan, and (3) Assess economic valuation on portfolio companies' risks and develop risk mitigation measures; in order to drive its performance and push investee companies to achieve effectively and efficiently venture objectives The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines and international standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani’s government & other legal justification’s, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives. |
Main tasks and responsibilities - Monitor performance of assets on a regular basis and drive value addition initiatives of portfolio investments
- Hold regular discussions / meetings with the management of portfolio investments and provide support by being involved in specific tasks and responsibilities.
- Provide regular reports on investments that compare actual performance to projected performance & ensure compliance of portfolio to plan.
- Generate investment and asset management reports periodically and as and when required.
- Develop, maintain, and review financial models and valuations for existing investments regularly as required.
- Actively contribute towards the divestments of any of the portfolio companies by conducting valuations and financial analysis, preparation of investment teasers, transaction planning, engaging and liaison with external advisors…etc.
- Support the economic evaluation on portfolio companies' risks and develop risk mitigation measures.
- Be the primary liaison between investee companies assigned as asset manager and the rest of Group as required.
- Ensure smooth communication and record keeping between investee companies assigned and Group.
- Participate as required to Group Meetings or Board or Steering Committees of portfolio companies
- Enable efficient approval / signoff for shareholder reserve matters to be signed by the group (audited financial statements, cash calls, AGM / EGM etc.).
- Constantly identify areas of improvement and lead value addition initiatives
- Keep abreast of developments in financial markets and the economic and investment trends in local, regional and international markets

Education requirements | - Minimum qualification is a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Master’s degree or CFA qualifications (preferred)
