الوصف الوظيفي

• Ensuring that all electrical personnel are aware of and fully conversant with the company electrical safety rules and safe systems of work. • The ongoing coaching and assessment of Electrical technicians to attain increasing levels of responsibility (SAEP. AEP. CEP.) • Identifying the training requirements for the Electrical Technicians to achieve the required authorization levels. • Responsible for the Safe Isolation and de-isolation of all HV / LV electrical plant and switchgear. • Responsible for the development and review of Electrical Procedures • The scrutiny of all Electrical work permits, Isolation certificates, supplementary certificates and switching procedures. • Input to daily/weekly/monthly and TAR planning schedules for electrical systems. • Be fully aware of the business need and work towards reducing unplanned downtime. • Ensuring that all electrical and instrument personnel are trained and experienced in the installation, inspection and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment installed in hazardous areas. • Responsible for ensuring the preventive maintenance of electricals as per schedule. • Responsible for carrying out the trouble shooting of control systems, MCC, Feeders Systems etc.. • Responsible for monitoring the Electrical and control system performance and report abnormalities, provide solutions. • Attend HAZID & HAZOP on behalf of operations/maintenance team for electrical systems. • Act as focal point for electrical engineering requests from Muscat. HSE • Understanding and can completely prepare Permit to Work and Job Safety Analysis documents • Participate in company safety reporting system PREMO • Lead safety briefings, JSA's and Tool Box Talks to Instrumentation Group • Understands lock-out Tag-out, Working from Heights, Confined Entry requirements and strict adherence to the processes

المهارات المطلوبة

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Oil & Gas or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 10-12 years of experience in Oil & Gas. Previous experience as AEP or SAEP. Extra years of experience can substitute the qualification. • HV Power generation & distribution experience • COMPEX & Ex certified • Electrical switch gears, PMCC, Motors and all plant electrical Equipment’s. • DG electrical Control panels, breakers, Synchronization panels, etc. • LV,HV Motors, PMCC, Distribution Boards, • Monitoring the performance of Generators, Motors, including all other electrical equipment and report abnormalities before failures occur. • Diagnoses, (reports findings to Maintenance Supervisor) and rectifies faults on: • Electrical equipment and associated DG, Control gear, HT & LT switchgear including ancillary equipment. • Electrical problems in Plant and facilities. • High Voltage & Low Voltage Switchboards • VCB, ACB, protection systems, 6.6KV Motors. • VFD and Thyristor panels • LT: Transformers, MCC, PMCC, Emergency generators, motors, and protection systems. • Auxiliary systems: UPS, Battery chargers, Battery banks, Air-conditioning, building wiring, heat tracing, portable equipment, and grounding systems. • Transmission lines • Good Communication in English. • Ensuring all safety rules and safe work procedures are followed by themselves and by others working in and around the machinery. • Providing leadership and active participation in team safety meetings, discussions, and training opportunities. • Following all safety procedures such as Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, PPE, etc. • Lead and/or participate in crew discussions (both within maintenance and with operations) prior to major events, e.g. down days, etc. emphasizing Job Hazard Analyses prior to commencing work • Providing support as needed to correct quality deficiencies. • Lead and/or participate with root cause analysis for operating problems including the identification of contributing causes for non-operating events and work to eliminate the root cause for continuous improvement.
