About the Company

Petroleum Development Oman is the leading exploration and production company in the Sultanate of Oman. The Company delivers the majority of the country's crude oil production and natural gas supply.

Purpose of the Job

To support the development of the ICV key projects and overseeing Project Plans as well as the required Project controls to ensure the they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget and keep stakeholders informed the entire way on progress and completion. Furthermore, responsible to improve projects progress and achieve better results, all in adherence to the company policies and regulations.

Support to manage the Human capability development value through engagement to help individuals advance their career opportunities and meet business workforce needs by connecting talent to jobs with training, materials and updates on competency with the relevant internal and external stakeholders in the oil & gas sector and beyond; to ensure outreach of delivery steady-state of art ICV professionally. 
 

To  manage  the  day  to  day  business  to  support  an  effective  ICV  function, network and collaborate with others ICV teams to simultaneously and follow through on compliance with respect to policies and procedures. This includes Coordinate programmatic and interact with departments and outside PDO to collect, generate reports, write articles and analyze data relevant to our portfolio. 

Education & Experience

•    BS in Management/ education/ economist with a Sustainable or relevant fields or equivalent
•    4 to 7 years experience in a range of planning, and implementation projects. Exceptional ability to work with Top Management as well as Multidisciplinary project teams. 
•    Preferably experience in Supply Chain, ICV and Excellent in MS Office softwares in PowerPoint, Excel, etc.,.
•    The successful candidate will be flexible, willing to handle a wide variety of responsibilities and take the initiative to manage tasks independently.
•    Able to work in a pro-active manner, demonstrating a sense of urgency and energy to achieve results.
•    Be a team player with the ability to effectively communicate and network with individuals both within PDO and externally (at all organizational levels).
•    Ability to work effectively with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders

Main Responsibilities

•    Drive and Maintain HSE as first priority through compliance to PDO house rule, PDO HSE golden rules and PDO LSR (lifesaving rules).
•    Analyis ICV data / prints 
•    Manage project stakeholder expectations & relationships and co-ordinate with involved government authorities, project stakeholders, service providers and other relevant national institutions and organizations; 
•    Ensure all projects have ICV contribuition and social return on investment for PDO & Oman.
•    Provide cost and planning support to Head Project including planning, progress reporting, forecasting and independent progress verifications checks of performance of various projects as well as capturing projects risks impacts in the project cost & schedule.
•    Prepare and issue monthly performance report and other adhoc reports like Quarterly Performance Report  to EVBLTand provide inputs to Management and other key stakeholders..
•    Assess the impact of approved changes and any deviations from the key project targets and milestones, including productivity monitoring and ‘What if?’ scenarios to aid project management decision-making.
•    Coordinate within EVBD and liaise with the Finance department on budget phasing, expenditure projections and monthly financial reporting issues.
•    Attend Monthly performance reviews for the projects and update the project plan. 
•    Collate and issue the weekly and monthly management information reports.
•    Coordinating the key stakeholders on delivering the ICV training, review user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the ICV training and awareness sessions.
•    Leads, drives and follow up with ICV team leads and other key stakeholders to submit quarterly MEM ICV KPI reports including Track, forecast, and progress on ICV metrics and challenges
•    Effectively Coordinating the prepare required material for events in connections with ICV and actively follow-up the post events activities. Supporting company hosted events, road shows and conferences for Consultants, Contractors, Supplier and Service Providers.
•    Administers, Plans, organizes, facilitates and arrange development and training events.
•    Use ERP and other systems such as BI,MARS and CMS to perform data analysis  and presenting to department or managers.
•    Identification of opportunities to promote In-country value beyond O&G sectors. 
•    Work closely with SPM on the enhancement/projects related to the staff development
•    Ensuring updating CI,KPI,CI Huddle related to EVBD
•    Responsible for maintaining good working relationship within team member’s in ICV team to ensure the flow of learning curve is achieved.
