Purpose of the Job

• To engage with Operations & Maintenance teams at various sites across Oil North, Oil South and Gas to implement material management policies, processes and initiatives at sites.
• To drive execution of the Materials Management (MM) improvement road map on sites under his/her portfolio.
• To coach interior Operations & Maintenance teams on C&P and MM processes and practices.
• To link Operations & Maintenance with C&P in order to understand Materials related specific pain points at each site and focus on resolution.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Quantity Surveying, Economics, Business, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry preferably in Inventory management or Lean / Process / Operations excellence roles.
• Proven liaising and interpersonal skills along with an ability to manage roll out of processes, solutions & improvements.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations and manage multiple projects.
• Experience in coaching and delivering training material.
• Proficient in the usage of SAP MM & PM modules.
• Proven capability to manage change, follow up and monitor.
• Self starter, independent, good communicator
   

Main Responsibilities

• Maintain HSE as first priority and ensure zero LTI no harm to people and environment through compliance to PDO house rule, PDO HSE golden rules and PDO LSR (life saving rules).
• Supports Contracts Site Representative (CSRs) on auditing project materials reconciliation for both accuracy and timings. Conducts numerous project materials reconciliation report spot-checks and reports on findings to CSR, CH and EMC/ODC procurement lead.
• Checks that Squirrel stores receipts and dispatches are transacted in SAP by relevant personnel.
• Conducts Contractors site spot materials audit to ensure materials traceability in SAP as well as materials preservation is as per requirements.
• Follows up on site related NCRs audit findings to drive closure and Contractors improvements.
• Ensure that all materials on PDO and contractors sites are identified and recorded and in the right place.
• Member of the monthly MM working group.
• Lead site based improvement projects in the area of Materials Management.
• Provide MMt coaching and performance support for the site in his portfolio.
• Produce a monthly MM site report to FPP on relevant materials related issues.
• Contribute MM expertise to Contract Management plan and Business Performance reviews,
• Responsible for ensuring the implementation of MM processes, policies and improvement initiatives across site locations in close coordination with Operations & Maintenance and MMt central team.
• Responsible for providing material management knowledge and inputs to Maintenance teams at site in order to ensure that aligned work prioritization and realistic material availability expectations.
• Engage with Operations and Maintenance Engineers at sites/ Maintenance material support to understand MMt issues faced and plan appropriate improvement initiatives for systemic mitigation of issues faced.
• Conduct regular trainings at sites in liaison with Maintenance materials coordinators.
• Regularly engage with Operations & Maintenance engineers and site teams to share leading practices for MM processes.
• Monitor KPIs for the implementation of Materials management initiatives and processes at sites. Conduct reviews and develop action plans to plug the gaps identified at a site level.
• Review and track temporary “on site” storage in squirrel stores, thereby ensuring full materials visibility in SAP.
• Adhere to PDO HR policies and attend all mandatory trainings and workshops.
