The Geologist Consultant / Advisor will provide regional geological and geophysical evaluations.

The Geologist Consultant / Advisor responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Evaluation of new development opportunities by integrating subsurface data (such as logs, cores, seismic, fracture data, drilling losses etc ) and Dynamic data ( such as production logging, pressure and  production data etc).
• Key participant in integrated reservoir management & surveillance projects.
• Highly Skilled in reservoir geological characterization and 3D modeling studies using Petrel for both clastic or/and carbonate reservoirs and incorporate relevant aspects of other disciplines to define integrated development opportunities and assess reserves potential.
• Review depositional facies, conventional core analysis, capillary pressure data and openhole logs to determine reservoir and non-reservoir rock types and flow characteristic, hydrocarbon distribution and fluid contacts.
• Integrate all horizontal and vertical wells accurately into the structure framework reservoir zonation.
• Perform and QC geosstatical modeling of rock types, porosity and permeability integrating openhole logs, core and 3D seismic data.
• Perform and QC water saturation modeling using Sw-h, Leverett-J, Lucia, or other appropriate modeling techniques.
• Perform upscaling of reservoir structure and properties from fine-scale geologic model grids (Petrel) to coarse-scale simulation model grids (e.g.CMG).
• Provide geological contributions to project documentation (reviews presentation, Field Development Plans and STOIIP/Reserve revisions).
• Identify key static uncertainties impacting the estimation of in-place hydrocarbon volumes & perform deterministic and probabilistic volumetrics calculations.
• Provide materials /presentation to management, partners.
• Generate fit-for-purpose fracture property models based on integration of static and dynamic data.
• Review geological concepts, 3D petrel static models and development plans.
• Leading the development of fresh and mid-career geologists, following their development progress and liaise with HR on training requirements.
