الوصف الوظيفي

1.Assist with delivering integrated geoscience evaluations and recommendations for appraisal opportunities to support CCED’s operations and growth in Oman. 2.Work within a multidisciplinary team of geologists, petrophysicists, technologists, and engineers to identify and deliver a sustainable opportunity funnel of prospective and contingent resources for blocks 3 & 4. •Provide effective and timely support to the Appraisal Team. •Develop basic knowledge and skills in geophysical subsurface interpretation techniques. •Identify and develop one to two new areas of expertise (seismic processing, seismic acquisition, geological well operations, basic well log analysis, etc.) per year through daily work and formal training programs. •Assist in the preparation of appraisal well proposals with guidance from the designed mentor and/or the Appraisal Manager. •Develop and maintain subsurface databases, as directed by the Appraisal Manager. •Undertake basic 3D seismic interpretation projects with guidance from the assigned Mentor on the Appraisal Team.

•Degree(s): BSc in Geology or Geophysics. MSc is preference •Years of Industry Experience: Graduate •Expatriate/Omani: Omani •Permanent/Part Time: Permanent •Language Skills Requirements: Proficiency in written and spoken English. •Professional Skills: Stable, mature organized and able to handle multiple projects effectively. Thoroughness and attention to detail is essential. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills are also essential. Candidate must be a self-starter that has a positive and “can-do” attitude. •IT Skills & Expertise Requirements: Basic computer skills, including building and maintaining spreadsheets, development and interrogations of databases
