Job purpose:
Lead the analysis and reports on industry trends, benchmarks and business performance for RPI & Plastics Assets and Functions in support of industry analytics, internal comparisons, Benchmarking, Gap to Potential, Business Improvement Plans and Business Development; in order to provide reliable data about the Performance Initiatives at RPI & Plastic Assets and contribute with Business Improvement objectives / goals.
The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines and international standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, government & other legal justification’s, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
• Lead the definition of variables, and Conduct the reports of the technical performance against set KPIs and Business Improvement Plans for all RPI & Plastic Assets and Functions.
• Lead the execution of technical and business performance report generation at RPI & Plastic Assets
• Lead the High level (Leadership Executive Team for RPI & Plastics) and detailed level (technical) of performance analysis indicators
• Standardize reporting across the RPI & Plastic Assets and functions
• Interface with Commercial & Downstream Operational Excellence and DS Business Development teams on data gathering and performance analysis.
• Lead the development and implementation of performance metrics in e.g. Management Information Systems like iMS and Business Warehouse at RPI & Plastics
• Suggest new techniques and technologies to continuously improve Business Analytics and reporting, visualisation at RPI & Plastics
• Lead and facilitate data gathering for business analytics and benchmarking of all RPI & Plastics Assets
• Lead the development of gap analysis reports and share with assets owners at RPI & Plastics through business improvement team
• Provide actual and forecasted data on key performance metric (like Process Utilisation, Operational Availability, Unit cost, Energy efficiency, Refinery Gross Margin) industry trends based on Business Improvement Plans applicable to RPI & Plastics
• Manage all past operational, technical and business performance data in database/system(s) related with all RPI & Plastic Assets
• Manage all benchmarks, targets, as well as, planned and forecasted operational & business performance data in database/system.

Education requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required), Postgraduate degree in Engineering or MBA (preferred).
Language: Excellent knowledge of written, read, and spoken English (required) Arabic - Native (desirable).
Background and experience:
• 12+ years of relevant experience in similar role.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with at least 3 years in downstream business, operations or process engineering.
