• Execute all assigned general equipment maintenance activities (PM & CM) in a safe and operating standard.
• Provide specialist inputs for equipment applications and problem solving.
• Calibrate, trouble-shoot and analyse field electrical equipment during abnormal conditions
• Conduct equipment or process parameters to be recorded and all checks to be carried out are captured in the log sheet at required frequency
• Assessment of maintenance contractor's level of skill and equipment handling capabilities.
• Input to RCM [Reliability Centered Maintenance] and FMEA [Failure Mode and Effect Analysis]
• Asset integrity reviews, Equipment Health-checks, Asset/ Maintenance reference plan), scope challenge reviews.
• Record all preventive and corrective maintenance findings, breakdowns, feedbacks and improvements in SAP.
• Provide feedback and improvement inputs on Maintenance Craft Procedures and Maintenance Plans to the Maintenance Support Department.
• Provide inputs to deviations from performance standards for safety critical elements / safety barriers
• Support electrical activities for a major turnaround, including emergent work
• Support the creation, revision, approval or modification of electrical site masterplans
• Carry out the required Electrical Equipment inspection tasks, i.e. Perform the non-negotiable tasks, laid down either by legal authorities or recognised "certifying bodies" or determined through a risk based process, to demonstrate system & equipment integrity in accordance with performance standard and deviations are recorded and authorised by the Technical authority
• Provide technical support to operations and the start up team in the development of the commissioning, start up and operating procedures for discipline specific hardware.
• Execute and comply with Permit to Work System, manpower, materials, tools, services, spares, logistics, staff competences, data collection/reporting, and associated costs.
• Deputise as Maintenance Supervisor in the incumbent’s absence
